this was a totally random read for me, passed on by a friend who is a lover of
True Crime.
It's quite an old book, but as soon as she gave me the book I recognised the face!!
The book is written by the mother of Lee Harvey, who was tragically stabbed to death by his girlfriend, Tracie Andrews in the December of 1996. He was 25.
Tracie claimed it was a road rage incident, and continually lied to his family and the police over the days following his death.
Tracie was jealous, possesive and violent, but his family couldn't believe she was capable of murder.
However, as time went on, there were more and more holes appearing in Tracies statement, and nothing was adding up.
Its a heart rending and gripping story, that doesnt end with a conviction. It follows the years after the verdict, and the continuous torment felt by the family, at the hands of their Sons murderer.
A tragic, heart felt book, that you will find hard to put down.
