I found the book difficult to read in places as I had tears streaming down my face you will definitely need a few tissues! The courage and amazing ability to pull together the strength to over come what happened to these ladies had me absolutely gripped I read the entire book in two sittings!
All the stories are beautifully written with such raw emotion that shouts from each page. It truly is amazing and showcases how strong women truly are. I applaud the bravery and strength it must have taken each lady to share her story.
I personally liked the inspirational quotes that head up each chapter I thought this was a lovely touch I've found myself thinking about them a lot since finishing the book. This is a book that I would recommend to be on every woman's bookshelf. Whoever you are or whatever your life experience you will find something in this book that will resonate with you and show you that you are not alone and you too can rise again like the Phoenix.
